@Bernadette Abraham B. Please can you send me the last monthly round up email just for me to check I am receiving these emails.
I said yes yesterday, but could be mistaken. I do receive the weekly round up emails.
-
@Bernadette Abraham hello.
Yes, I do. I may have missed the updated email address notification. I found it just before receiving your response.

She wasn’t given a suppository at all yesterday. I’ve arrived at the hospital and asked the staff nurse. They’ve just inserted it.
Thank you for the remedies to try. I will run it pass the doctors.

More upsetting news B.
Mum’s egfr is now 7 and creatinine is 480.
Is there anything she can try which I can run pass the doctors to increase the egfr and lower creatinine?
-
@Bernadette Abraham Hi. B.
Mum still hasn’t been able to open her bowels despite the laxido.They have increased to two sachets. If still no difference, they will give her suppositories.
Infection markers have improved.
Unfortunately, her renal function has impaired due to the dye given during the CT scan. Her creatinine today was 400 and egfr 14. It was 23 before we went to A&E last Wednesday. They are now hydrating her with saline and getting her to drink as much as she can. She’s lost her appetite and also not drinking. They’ve inserted a catheter to monitor how much she’s expelling and for her comfort so that she doesn’t keep going to the washroom. Unfortunately, it’s not very comfortable and she’s prone to UTIs when inserting catheter.
The big concern for me is the renal function.
Tomorrow, they’ll carry out an ultrasound of the abdomen to see if the inflammation has reduced.
Mum really needs to open her bowels to check for any other specific infections and also calcprotectin. Also, of there is any blood.
She’s even more weak now.

@Daniel Schepers I’m not sure either. He did ask a series of questions related to testosterone back in March which lead to this blood test. To be honest, he should have asked me to have this test back in March. He forgot.
-
@Daniel Schepers thank you Daniel. I will post my Genova adrenal stress results results shortly.
-
@Daniel Schepers this is extremely helpful. Thank you. I think the last word in the last sentence was was inflammation of the sinuses which he has.
He has been taking a lot antibiotics of the past few months. Could he drink nettle tea instead?
I will look up how to flush sinuses. Not come across this before.

B. I just noticed, I’ve still got some Thorne GI encap capsules left. Should I have them with food or 30mins before food. Can I open them up and mix in water or have them neat?
-
@Bernadette Abraham Thank you B for the link and sure, will look to buy organic instead.
With regards to cooking, I tend to sauté the veggies with oil. This is where I want to use the evvo. Once sauteed, simmer in a small amount of water until soft with the lid closed

@Bernadette Abraham hi B.
Regarding chia seeds, if I leave a 1/4 tsp of chia seeds in a glass of water overnight in the fridge or on the counter and just drink the water excluding the seeds, is this OK too?
-
@Yasmin atassi good luck
