What should I do about the two medicines? Are there alternatives?

     good morning

Yes, I am surprised about my GP result as nothing appears to be going right my way at the moment. I still feel the same.

You’ll receive updated blood panel from functional dx very soon as I did the blood withdrawal last Thursday I think.

Separate to this, should I repeat  the OATS test?

Regarding ERMI test, this is the WhatsApp response I’ve just received from Andy Habbershaw :-

Ermi is a dna test for mould species from which a score can be calculated. It does not test for mycotoxins – rather it tests for toxigenic species. If you want to know what mycotoxind are present you need an environment mycotoxin test. We can do both testz

     hi.

I haven’t uploaded the foods yet.

My first NEO session with Ashley was on February 2nd, but I’ve had to reschedule it to 8th February as I have a hospital appointment for a full blood panel including blood gastrin level and some other specific markers related to my gut which I’m not hundred percent sure about. My GI consultant requested it when I met him yesterday. He’s also asked my GP to prescribe these medicines specific to histamine. Please see below. I am concerned about montelukast. When I google this, there is talks of this medicine being used by asthmatic patients. I also have to take cetirizine. Taking both will bring the histamine down apparently. Is there an alternative route rather than taking these medicines?

“I suspect that is high histamine levels are contributing to some of his symptoms after he eats. In addition to the famotidine I would like to take cetirizine half an hour before every meal and also add in 10 mg of montelukast in the evenings I would be grateful if you could prescribe all of these for him. I will see him back in clinic with the above results to hand and feedback thereafter.”

I will check whether they are familiar with ERMI test.

Burning sensation is continuous post food. It could be the very tiny amount of almond butter which is very sensitive to my system due to the histamine intolerance. I didn’t realise almonds are high in histamine.

My abdomen bloats and is hard as well when gastritis flairs up. The burning sensation happens within 1/2 and stays. When I try to calm it, with slippery elm, DGL or marshamllow, it worsens.

When I meet my Gastroenterologist today, I’ll ask to do a gastrin blood test of he can. I might be producing too much acid.

Hi and , I’m in touch with
actiondry.co.uk to contact me for mould inspection.

Could I have an infection? H2 Blocker, femotidine isn’t helping. Today, I gave a blood withdrawal for the blood panels from functional DX and I’m also meeting my Gastroenterologist following my stomach emptying test on 18th January. I am burning up inside. I’ve been taking high dosage of the femotidine but no difference.

    Hi B,

Still plenty of salt over even now. The water is clear now. Should I add more salt?

    Hi ,

Thank you for your detailed response as always.

I have been eating avocado, walnuts, brazil nuts, egg plant, prawns, fish, tofu, mushrooms, chicken and eggs. Semi boiled eggs, on a daily’s basis.

I noticed after googling you can also histamine liberator foods such as eggs.

Meat should be bought fresh and not from the chilled section. I order the white meat as fresh as possible.

I haven’t been taking any DAO. I thought I needed it and started looking on Amrita nutrition yesterday, but histamine block contained pork. Maybe, I don’t  need DAO then?

I have been taking B complex for the past three months by this company.

    https://www.metabolics.com/b-complex-liquid.html

I use coconut oil in my cooking.

I also take Omega 3 liquid by Bare Biology which I have mentioned in one of previous posts.

I don’t take copper but do take vitamin c as Magnesium Ascorbate by Biocare. I take 1/3 tsp of the powder in a little water. Functional dx blood test results will show any deficiency in these and other minerals and vitamins once I received the test kits and blood withdrawal is done.

Quercetin  – is this in capsule form? I don’t think I can add another supplement as I’ve just ordered Biotics Research HCL ease. I want to, but my stomach is already struggling at the moment.

Can collagen peptide powder cause histamine intolerance in the sense that if the powder is stored for a long time and it builds up histamine.

Can Glutathione help with regulating histamine intolerance?

Could the liver need a detox?

    Hi B.,

Biotics Research HCL is back in stock. Is this taken in addition to the Digestive Enzymes as this product mentions enzymes as well.

January 21, 2023 at 5:17 pm in reply to: Slippery elm, DGL and Marshmallow Root Powder

I’m not taking any multivitamins or selenium based diet.

I was eating Brazilian nuts just before Christmas as they were abundant in the supermarkets due to Christmas. I realised afterwards, they contain histamine which I have so have stopped eating them.

I really need to go some sort of multivitamin supplement as I am really weak.

Once the functional blood test results are out of the way, I might need your guidance again.

I’ve sent an email to the support team on your side with the blood tests to be done with functional dx. Unfortunately, I can’t just approach the company directly and have to go through the practioner.

Thanks @. I’ll leave the tryptophan and try the hydrolysed collagen in smaller dosage.
