Hi @Kkol – I was in a similar situation recently and asked the doctor how much information they’ll get from the MRI if it’s done without contrast. He said about 80%. So it’s not entirely useless, but it might miss data that the contrast can pick up.
Ultimately, it’s essential to weigh the pros and cons of testing on a case-by-case basis with…

@Kkol have I already directed you to the Interpreting Basic Blood Chemistry course before? I feel as though I have…
In any case, I’d encourage you to watch the entre section on Lipids in that course starting with THIS video.

@Kkol you’re correct. Heavy metals are pervasive and in everything we consume today. @Kkol please watch the following videos for functional interpretation of the liver panel given his continued nausea as well:
- ALT, AST & GGT seem to be suboptimal: Liver panel
- Total bilirubin also seems to be on the lower end of the RR: Total Bilirubin
I know you have previous liver panel results. I would put them in an excel sheet with dates to…

@Kkol aldolase is an enzyme that is released into the blood when muscle tissue is damaged so yes, it’s normal to see elevated levels after rhabdomyolysis. It typically peaks during the acute phase of rhabdo, and can remain elevated for some time as the body recovers.
I didn’t see anything new in the results. Both markers for autoimmunity…
