    H. Pylori and baking soda

    Hello Bernadette and Daniel

    In the h.pylori protocol it mentions to take baking soda in water 30 minutes before taking mastic gum, to draw the bacteria out.

    My confusion is, if we already have low acid due to h pylori, wouldn’t adding baking soda to the mix further lower the pH since baking soda is alkaline?

    Zinc and copper supplements

    Since we know that taking too much zinc can put copper out of balance.

    Xylitol in probiotics

    I noticed xylitol as one of the ingredients in my kids probiotics. The brand mentions it is used to feed the good bacteria.

    But Google shows it can harm the gut in the longer run. If that’s the case should I be looking for another probiotic? I bought this one because it had 8 different strands of probiotics in it
