I just listened to Dr G’s latest podcast abt the vagus nerve and its relation/impact on HRV.
You need to strengthen the vagal tone, and get into parasympathetic NS with :

    1. move exercise
    2. Stress management mindfulness
    3. Emotional release
    4. Sleep hygiene
    5. Diet
    6. Breathwork
    7. Cold exposure
    8. Community/ nature

    As well as

    Gentle touch / hugs etc
    Singing
    Dancing
    Resonant breathing

other than dry skin which for me is thyroid/ liver related, I do not have any kidney issue symptoms.
I am 155cm with 52kg- not low. But for sure low muscle weight!
My blood work in May (when creatinine in urine was 0.30) did not show kidney issues but liver stress.

oh great. So then my next question is how much of hydrogen water should you drink a day? And what is the max amount you can drink in situations when you need a lot antioxidant (when sick or injury etc)?

     hi!
My last blood test was end of March, and when I checked the results, I put myself on HCL since Iron, Calcium, Protein, Globulin and Zinc all were low. So now, with next blood test I hope those numbers have improved.
At the same time my Ferritin was slightly elevated but iron low. I knew I was missing Vitamin A, B’s and copper to help with the absorption,  so took care of that too.
But honestly, I do not feel the difference whether I take HCL or not.
Will keep you posted on the new results, but I was so stressed in the past months that I might wait it out

I worked with B and did her protocol of Gastromend and Broccoli Sprouts. After retesting of H Pylori was negative, I started HCL and we did lots of gut healing, too. No gastritis here

    Hi
Was the person supplementing with B12 when the test was done?

I know that testing B12 in abc rather than in serum, which is usually done, is more accurate.

and that is exactly what I had in my notes from way back from Dr Jess:
    Neutrophils fight bacteria
    Lymphocytes fight viruses
    I get there

I re checked my papers and this is what I used for the Neutrophils/Lymphocytes pattern:
*high neutro + low lymphs = chronic viral most often*
*Iow neutro + high lymphs = chronic bacterial most often*
Looks like that is is not accurate and I will look into it ☺️

Do you suspect the creatine supplementation is influencing any of her markers?

women during their luteal phase may experience some insulin resistance. And if she had her blood drawn during that period, I thought maybe it could explain the higher glucose.

    Hi
If I may share my thoughts only by the markers run and without knowing any of her symptoms,
I would say that seeing her WBC low together with the pattern of low Neutrophils and high Lymphocytes (hers only slightly above optimal range) usually indicate a (chronic) bacterial infection. Seeing the Monocytes elevated as well, could confirm the chronic infection.
With active infections (you mentioned few days prior to the test she had a cold) you typically see pattern of low WBC with high Monocytes, too.

    Her RDW is slightly elevated.

With regards to her high Glucose, I would want to know if her blood was drawn in a fasted state? If she has her menstrual cycle and if so, in which phase she was when doing the test.
According to those answers, I would then like to see her Insulin as well as her HgBA1C to rule out blood sugar issues.

Her Globulin is slightly above optimal range and without knowing any of her symptoms it’s hard to pinpoint a direction here.
Total Protein is slightly above optimal range which can be an indicator for cellular dehydration.
All other liver markers look good to me.

I would maybe try to find out next what is taxing her immune system.

Cannot wait to read B’s and Daniel’s thoughts.

Hi  , I just saw your post and since I am learning to read and interprete blood panels myself, I though I share with you my thoughts ☺️ Without knowing any of his currents symptoms and from the blood test you shared, I believe he is low in iron and B6 vitamins, since his UC prevents the body to absorb both of these nutrients. However, without a full iron panel I would not start supplementing with iron blindly.
His Eosonophils are high as well, which often is a indicator for parasites, and parasites feed off of iron, that’s why blindly supplementing might not be the best idea.
Please see also my notes attached.[IMG_6535.heic]
But pls wait for B. or Daniel to comment
