Explore EN-FAB Inc.& oil project portfolio – EOR steam injection, early production facilities & crude oil separation projects delivered worldwide.
EN-FAB, Inc’s DAN‐STM® steam quality measurement system consists of an orifice meter and a choke arranged in series with the choke placed downstream of the orifice meter.

A conventional straight “bean” type choke requires a minimum of 50% pressure reduction to achieve critical flow. The pressure drop requirement is not always feasible, particularly in higher pressure systems. To minimize this difficulty, EN‐FAB Inc. employs a Pressure Recovery Venturi (PRV) nozzle within a conventional type choke body bean. The PRV design reduces the minimum pressure drop requirement to 20% of the inlet pressure.
