Headaches In The Sun?
Do you get headaches when you’re out in the heat or spending time in the sun? ☀️
I felt one coming on today, but thankfully I was able to relieve it naturally. So I decided to share my troubleshooting tips in the hope that they will be useful to you as well. ????
1️⃣ A headache is often an early sign of dehydration. So drink up! Natural spring water from a glass bottle is best, otherwise, choose filtered water. Avoid plastic bottles. I also add sole – saturated salt water for electrolytes to help with the absorption of water.
2️⃣ If step 1 doesn’t help, then I add in magnesium glycinate. Magnesium is a relaxing, calming mineral so it can often help ease tension in the body, including headaches.
Lately, I’ve been preferring the homeopathic magnesium salts because I find them faster acting than the glycinate supplement form.
3️⃣ When I get sun headaches and hydration and magnesium doesn’t help relieve the headache, I know it’s time to increase my omega-3 fatty acids.
Sun headaches are often a sign of an omega-3 fatty acid insufficiency or deficiency. And lately, I haven’t been eating as much fish or taking my supplements, so I’m going to resume taking my Omega-3s again. ????
????????This month I released my ???????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????????????? course in the B Better membership. I discuss the importance of fatty acids and their critical role in our body including skin health, brain health, heart health, immunity, etc., and how they play a critical role in managing inflammation!
????????I also share the type of fats and oils to be including and avoiding, and how they contribute to the inflammation cycle.
????????I also dedicate a whole section on omega-3 supplements and food sources. I share my favorite brands (fish and plant-based), dosage recommendations, functional tests to check your fatty acid levels, and resources for checking your supplement brands to make sure they’re high quality.☑️
???? The course is available in B Better. ????
