Brain fog due to sleep deprivation
I had a baby a few months ago and my sleep has inevitably taken a turn for the worst. My baby is exclusively breastfed and doesn’t take bottle well, so I’m up almost every 2 hours at night trying to feed him. I’ve also become a light sleeper after becoming a mother too.
Since then, I’ve noticed a lot of brain fog so issues recalling…

Hi all
Curious to learn what I can do to create a strong foundation for my infant’s gut health. These are some things I know can make a difference but would love to know more:
– vaginal delivery
– being breastfed
– no antibiotics if possible
– avoiding sterilizing/over washing items baby comes into contact with
What are some other things that…

They’re mandatory for the US green card.
Would love to hear your thoughts on what I can do to better support my body. Thanks!

Hi,
We have to take vaccines for immigration purposes – flu, covid booster, and TDAP.
I know some of these vaccines come with risks. Is there a way to mitigate the risks?
Are there any protocols I can do before or after to support my body during this process?
I’m also breastfeeding. Any considerations for that?
Thanks

Iron Infusion in Third Trimester
Hi B & Daniel,
I am currently 33 weeks pregnant, and my provider recommended 125 mg iron infusions every week for five weeks, and I wanted to get your input on it.
I initially got my bloodwork at the end of July which pointed towards low iron levels. My lab results were:
Ferritin: 18 ng/dL
RBC: 3.80 / uL
Hb:… Read more

Iron Infusion in Third Trimester
Thanks for your response.
I was not iron deficient pre-pregnancy and neither was I in my first trimester. My providers redid blood work at 27 weeks, which is when I was diagnosed with mild anemia.
I can attach the screenshot of the labwork and the reference ranges they provide, but the reference ranges are for normal situations and not…

Hi,
I check my body temperature everyday first thing in the morning for the BBT method to track ovulation. I’ve noticed that my body temperature (pre ovulation) tends to be in the lower range. It ranges from 35.8 – 36.3 C. It does go up as the day progresses.
It is pretty cold where I live (1-8 degrees C), and I don’t turn on the… Read more

Hi,
A friend said her thyroid levels are borderline hypothyroidism (still within the normal range, but close), has cold hands and feet, and hair loss. I’m unsure of what labs she got, but I’m assuming it’s the traditional tests (TSH & T4). I presume this could indicate iodine deficiency. Would that be accurate?
She doesn’t want to… Read more

One of my family members is having extreme digestive distress and cannot tolerate any food (carbs, fruits, vegetables, meat).
