@Bernadette_Abraham thanks a lot for clarifying it. They ran the test in parallel to the homocysteine so we thought it was connected.
His homocysteine levels were high before around 16; he has been using ‘Nutri-dyn Methyl Complete’ supplement which helped a lot to drop the levels to 5.7. This is a marker we are conscious of and always… Read more

@Bernadette_Abraham I have attached the fasting insulin result too. I understand the thyroid levels may not be at the optimum levels; however being a thyroid patient for 20 years, I am struggling to comprehend how that would lead to an extreme ferritin levels?

@Bernadette_Abraham However, there was something a bit confusing. Although they said the hemochromatosis test result was negative, there was one more test had come positive. @Bernadette_Abraham Yes the genetic condition was tested and ruled out. Thyroid and sugar levels are normal.
It was diagnosed as non-alcoholic fatty liver.
I have attached here the results for HBA1C, thyroid and transferring ferritin levels.

Hi @Bernadette_Abraham and @Daniel . My husband’s blood tests had shown high ferritin levels back in 2022. (Levels: 417) After running some test, it was found out that the levels are high due to fatty liver.
