 thank you for the excellent write-up!

ďťżďťż I normally tell my clients to keep it in the fridge or freezer. This helps delay the release of citrus oils and prevent citrus burps. I have them take it 3/4 way through a meal for a few days. If they’re ok with the 250mg dosage, they increase it to 2 caps (500mg) in 1 meal for another few days (or longer if needed). They keep increasing their dose gradually until they reach 1000mg with 1 meal per day. Then I keep them on it for about 30-90 days depending on the need. We re-test direct bilirubin to see if it’s come down below 0.2 and then stop d-limonene.

– there’s a lot of unnecessary fillers, binders, and flow agents in the “other ingredients” because it’s in tablet form. If you look for a capsule form, they’ll be less need for these ingredients. They aren’t harmful, but they’re also not needed if encapsulated, which is usually better from an absorption perspective in those with compromised digestion.
Compare that one to the one by Pure Encapsulations here in B Better’s Fullscript dispensary for example. Way less “other ingredients” needed. You’ll need to be signed into the Fullscript dispensary to be able to see the product link. If you haven’t signed up for an account yet, you can do so here.
Also, here’s a supplement resource guide that can help you navigate the confusing world of supplements and know what to avoid and what to look for instead.

 hope he is able to manipulate the hiatal hernia. Osteopaths have an incredible set of tools and magic hands! Hoping it works for you…

 good luck – please share your experience and thoughts about it with all of us. I’ve invited Dr. Renata to be our guest expert in July to talk about ANF therapy.

 the only questionable ingredient is “parfum” which is a big umbrella term that can encompass nearly 4000 chemicals including carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, and allergens. The only way to know what exactly is in their “parfum” is to call up the company and ask them. Obviously, you’ll want it to come from natural sources.

ďťżďťż for my clients who are on acid suppressing medications, protein & mineral absorption are obviously compromised since we need strong stomach acid to break these down. Rather than a single amino acid, I prefer to recommend that my clients take an amino complex. Similar to B vitamins – unless there’s an overt need for 1 particular B vitamin, it’s best to take it as a complex to prevent creating other imbalances in the group.
I often recommend ClearVite amino acid blend by Apex Energetics. It comes in chocolate (ClearVite-CHC) and vanilla flavors (ClearVite-CLA). Once they can no longer tolerate it, it’s their body telling them they’ve had enough and it’s time to stop taking it. Some experience nausea, others experience an aversion to it. The body is wise.
I can’t tell you specifically what you can and cannot take regarding B vitamins, but I’ll share what I usually do with my clients. If my clients have a higher need for B6, I usually have them switch to the B Complex #6 after they’ve been on their Thorne Basic B Complex for at least 2 months at a dosage of 3 caps per day. You can compare the dosages to your product and see if you’re there yet and can possibly tolerate a higher dose of B6.

ďťżďťż from what I know, leaching can happen when a liquid is more acidic. And according to the FDA 2022 Food code, it should not be used with food/liquids below pH of 6 like vinegar, fruit juice, alcohol as it can leach copper.
Water pH can range anywhere between 6.5 to 8.
Hope that helps.

Hi – have you gone through the Air & Skin pillar inside the Beginner’s Health Roadmap course? It’s a great starting point for cleaning up our living environment.
We also had 2 guest experts talking about environmental health; a toxicologist and building biologist.
You can find those recordings here:
⢠Simple steps to detoxify your personal care products
⢠EMF mitigation and non-toxic products for a healthier homeWe also have a few handouts you can read:
⢠Reducing exposure to common toxic elements
⢠Toxin avoidanceHope these help!

I share my favorites in the Beginner’s Health Roadmap “Air & Skin” pillar here for toothpaste, and here for candles.

ďťżďťż I order my supplements through Fullscript (B Better’s supplement dispensary in the resources section), and use a mail forwarding company like Shop&Ship or Boxit4Me to redirect it to Dubai.

 I’m happy you’re gaining clarity and more confidence in your decision. Sometimes we just need to get all our thoughts out… And you’re right – achieving hormonal balance is definitely a positive sign.

 majority of ANF practitioners I believe are osteopaths. They have an incredibly diverse set of skills that can help the most extreme cases when all else fails. I’d seriously consider his modalities if it’s available to you.

since you’re going in to get tested, see if your doctor will order the following tests for you:
To check immune health:
⢠CBC with differentials
⢠Vitamin D
⢠RBC zinc (or serum zinc & copper if RBC is not available)
⢠Vitamin ATo check if stomach acid is low due to:
⢠H Pylori breath test
⢠Full thyroid panel (click here for full list on the last page)To check liver/gallbladder function:
⢠CMP panel (see the same handout for full list) but if your doctor refuses since they are many, then simply ask for these as a minimum: ALT, AST, GGT, Total Bilirubin, Direct BilirubinTo check pancreatic function, they usually measure Elastase-1 marker in stool.
It’s often difficult to get doctors to order this many tests without clinical reason unless they are trained in functional medicine. Dr Makk at Zia Medical Center will run these tests (and more) but it’s all pay and claim back.

did you recall ingesting either glucose or lactulose, waiting some time, and then doing a breath test? That’s typically how SIBO is diagnosed. The stool test you attached only suggests the possibility of SIBO and says “consider SIBO testing” because of a higher IAD (Inflammation-Associated Dysbiosis) and Methane score.
Now keep in mind that SIBO is not a root cause. It is also a symptom. Here’s a post I did about that to give you better insights.
If you are sure it is SIBO however, then I suggest you have a listen to this live recording (skip to the 18min20sec mark) where I discuss causes & solutions for SIBO with other members, along with the areas to focus on (the 3 major players: stomach, gallbladder, pancreas which I discuss in the Gut Health Masterclass). Have you had a chance to watch those videos yet?
In addition to Daniel’s recommendations, make sure stress is addressed if that’s a factor in your life, especially around meals; eating hygiene is simple but powerful. Also check your thyroid status and rule out H Pylori overgrowth in the stomach. Low thyroid function can compromise and slow down overall digestion.
Regarding your severe pains, did you seek help from your doctor? Please do let us know if you did and what they suggest it could be.
