good thinking about retesting your zinc. I would also measure copper and ceruloplasmin along with it to know if a deficiency was caused elsewhere.
Also regarding optimal ranges – keep in mind that lab ranges differ from one lab to the next, so I do look at the lab’s reference ranges but know where that nutrient should be within that reference range. So for zinc, we like to see it in the upper 2/3rds of the clinical reference range. So supplementing was in fact a good idea in this case.
However, 100mg is quite a high amount. I’m usually more cautious when supplementing with single nutrients. Typically, I’ll have my clients take 45-50mg per day for 30-60 days to help bring up their levels slowly, and then switch them onto a zinc/copper blend for another month or 2 to maintain balanced levels.
Hope that helps.

moving out of your home is a good thing but if you were colonized while living there, you will bring that mold with you wherever you go. Hence why it’s important to know if you’re dealing with mycotoxins since your protocol will look different than someone who isn’t dealing with mycotoxin illness.
In my Mold & Mycotoxin Illness course, the final module tackles how to detox from mold. You can skip testing and jump straight into action, or you can test to know what your current levels are like. However, as I mention in the testing videos, when someone’s detox pathways are blocked, the result can come back “negative” in urine when in reality they have a very strong mold body burden.
A coffee enema is definitely a tool to help the body detoxify. There’s much more than can be done as well, which I share in that course.
You can take a look at how I build a customized protocol for clients to see what I usually include and reasons why.

Salt & red light for the win!! Glad you’re feeling better. Do keep us posted with what the dentist says.

then you likely have to work on supporting your elimination pathways first. Did you become constipated with the CellCore supplements? They’re rarely my first go-to choice. Only once I know a client has opened up their pathways and completed a gentler parasite cleanse (like Renew Life’s ParaSmart cleanse for example), do I put them on CellCore’s supplement line.
And before any parasite cleansing, I always prioritize the main digestive players first; stomach acid, bile flow, and enzymes.
And if the biliary tract is congested, I start with that first. Have you ever measured your Total and Direct bilirubin? I’m curious to know your levels. -
are you currently taking oral birth control for your acne?
11 on the mold questionnaire probably warrants either testing your body and/or testing your home/office (wherever you spend most of your time) for mold given the many symptoms you’re sharing with us.
Please watch the entire section of videos on How to Test for Mold and let us know if you have any clarifying questions about pursuing testing. Mold is often an overlooked root cause and it’s VERY common in the UAE given the high humidity.

I actually saw on LovinDubai’s Instagram account this morning that residents across Dubai were complaining of gasoline /kerosene smell yesterday. Supposedly an oil tanker leaked in the sea and the smell got picked up by the storm. I was reading some of the comments and one person said that the downtown canal was totally black… so I’m wondering if your kids are reacting to the toxins in the sea from this oil spill.
Have you seen the “Rapid relief for allergies/congestion” protocol here? I share some supplement solutions and food therapy options you can try like stinging nettle leaf (not root) & onion peels. The downside is that it usually takes a while (~2 weeks to 30 days) for the natural options to kick in but they do work.
Knowing about the oil spill, I would help support their natural detoxification pathways. Make sure they sweat a lot through play (the skin is an elimination pathway, the lungs and lymph are too through movement/exercise) and provide them with plenty of fiber to help bind and eliminate toxins through stool. Also make sure they’re well hydrated – the kidneys help eliminate toxins too!
Here’s a video that explains the elimination pathways with supportive tools for each.
And for rapid relief, I love homeopathy. If it doesn’t help, it won’t harm when taking in low dosages (6x, 30x). Depending on the type of itching they have and where, read the descriptions on this page to find out which one would be best for your kids. I would assume Urtica and/or saponaria would help in this situation but a homeopath would know best if you can consult with one.

Hi please let us know what the dentist says. We can probably provide better guidance once we know what it is you’re dealing with.
Has this happened to you before? Or is it the first time? Did you eat anything hard like corn chips for example that might have injured your gum? What’s your overall oral health like usually? Do you have any amalgam fillings or root canals?
Please keep us posted. In the meantime, you could try Dr. Roze’s DIY Matcha mouthwash to help alkalize the mouth and reduce any type of inflammation.

Hi – have you seen this video in the Mold & Mycotoxin Illness course? I share resources for the UAE beneath the video.
I would also encourage you to watch this video on testing mold in your environment to better understand what “should” be done. Unfortunately, here in the UAE, we have to piece meal the process together using several companies which I share in the first video I shared.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Ok so this is different to the acne symptom?

1. Only way to know is to test your levels. Get an RBC zinc. If not available, get serum zinc, copper and ceruloplasmin. The picture you sent also doesn’t show the dosage of zinc being provided per serving.
2. We can help facilitate access to the DUTCH test. Did you watch the video I shared? It shows the cost of each and provides reports of each so you can see the difference. Here’s the video again.
3. Typically the adrenal test that can be covered by insurance is just a morning cortisol sample, which is insufficient because cortisol varies throughout the day. We need to know how much you’re producing in a day, and what the pattern looks like. The video above explains this in more detail.
4. Yes, I always like to measure copper and ceruloplasmin along with zinc.
6. If you’re experiencing fatigue upon rising, then it’s probably best to go with the DUTCH Plus ($499 USD+shipping) which also shows the cortisol awakening response. (if finances allow)
7. Yes, we are working to have a Single Sign On feature so members can sign-in using 1 login/password for the B Better library and Circle, but for now it is 2 different log-ins. So you’ll have to use whatever password you had created initially for Circle. If you can’t remember, just hit “forgot password” to create a new one. Another way you can log into Circle from your laptop is to click on “Community” in the top header of your library dashboard to be taken to the community (once you’ve logged into Circle with your password at least once). Hope that helps. Let me know if you’re still facing issues.

what do you mean by you’re allergic to almost everything? What symptoms are you referring to?
-
correct – if you plan on travelling outside of the UAE, consider getting it done. 23andMe ship internationally to many other countries.
DNA life is a genetic test available in the UAE, but this can’t be interpreted in the StrateGene software (I had asked in the past for our members) and it’s not nearly as comprehensive. Here’s the DNA Health report, and the Histamine Intolerance report which could possibly replace 23andme if you’re not travelling anytime soon.
-
my clients usually take them without testing and all together.
-
let me clarify… what I meant by Dr. Lynch’s “program” is actually a “software” that translates the 23andme results into a practical report. It’s not a program per se but a report with practical tips and info based on your gene results.
And thank you for sharing the fact that you feel great when you’re pregnant. This is a massive clue that your migraines are more than likely linked to histamine intolerance because the DAO enzyme is known to increase 500 to 1000 x during pregnancy, which is what breaks down histamine. High histamine causes migraines. So those with a history of migraines often experience relief from the 2nd semester onwards when DAO enzyme production peaks.
With that in mind, we have to help you figure out what factors are causing your body to either prevent/block DAO production, and or where the high histamine is coming from.
• Gut health: DAO enzyme is produced in the gut. So gut dysbiosis, SIBO, SIFO, candida overgrowth, parasite infections, leaky gut, etc… all of these will negatively impact DAO production. Do you have any gut related symptoms like constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating, acid reflux, etc?• High histamine foods: there are seemingly many healthy foods that should be reduced/eliminated temporarily while working on addressing the root cause. Here’s a handout with foods known to be high in histamine. Fermented foods, leftovers, alcohol, bone broth, cured meats, pickled or canned foods, citrus fruits, most vinegars, etc. will all worsen histamine intolerance. Your collagen supplement is also likely a trigger so I would advise you to remove it!! There are also certain foods that block DAO enzyme production like green tea, black tea, coffee, alcohol. Remove these.
• High estrogen releases histamine. Do you struggle with PMS, breast tenderness, heavier periods, etc?
• Mold exposure. Have you ruled this out? Mold increases the release of histamine.
• Certain nutrients are needed to make and breakdown histamine. A good methylated B complex like Thorne Basic B complex could help with histamine elimination. Vitamin D controls the release of histamine from mast cells. Have you tested your levels? Zinc is also needed for elimination of histamine. Have you tested your levels? Copper which competes with zinc is a cofactor for the DAO enzyme. Have you tested your levels? Magnesium is needed for hte production of SAM, which supports histamine breakdown. Testing your vitamin D, RBC zinc and copper in blood would be wise.
Seeking Health has a few histamine friendly supplements that can likely help as well. A pure DAO enzyme called Histamine Digest, and another one with a little less DAO enzyme but includes co-factors to make DAO enzyme called Histamine Block Plus. These can be taken with meals if there’s a known high histamine food in the meal that you can’t avoid, or away from meals if you’re experiencing symptoms. He also has a probiotic with histamine degrading strains of probiotics called ProBiota HistaminX.
These can be taken in addition to the migraine prevention protocol.

Hi – yes, when someone tells me they’ve suffered with migraines their entire life, I’m usually suspicious of a genetic snp (pronounced “snip”) that may be affecting their ability to clear histamine from the body. Have you ever run a genetic report like 23andme before?
Dr. Ben Lynch – the founder of Seeking Health supplement company and author of Dirty Genes has also created a program called StrateGene that then translates the 23andme results and provides a very practical report of dietary and lifestyle changes to make based on one’s gene profile. His report is generated within 10 minutes. (FYI – I’m in discussion with Dr. Lynch and hoping he’ll be our guest expert in the Fall!)
Now please keep in mind that environmental factors dictate whether certain genes express themselves, so again, regardless of running these tests or not, there’s a lot one can do to clean up their environment.
Do you struggle with any other symptoms other than migraines?
Have you taken a look at the Migraine Prevention & Rapid Relief protocol in the Resources section yet? There I share some dietary triggers to consider removing from your diet, and a supplement protocol that I usually share with my clients to help with prevention. And in the Symptom Dictionary which I also link to in the protocol, I discuss the possible root causes to consider other than histamine. There are many other factors that can trigger migraine headaches.
I’d love if you can share more information about your symptoms, typical diet, lifestyle, stress levels, any past injuries/surgeries, supplements/medications you take, any hormonal symptoms, etc. so we can help point you in the right direction to figure out your root cause.
