since Dotarem is a type of gadolinium based contrast agent, there is the risk of deposition in the body. The reasons for using this contrast really need to warrant the possible risks: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28362042/

It is excreted through the kidneys so drinking a heavy intake of water (can add lemon as well) to flush it out is a good strategy. There isn’t much research on effective ways to chelate gadolinium, however it has been suggested to follow other heavy metal chelation protocols to help the body rid itself of this toxin.

Heavy metals are usually processed by the liver using glutathione conjugation (as is the case for mercury (Hg), lead (Pb), and some other heavy metals). We need to be able to methylate well to make glutathione. And we need available amino acids and extra B6 for the phase 2 liver detox.

Therefore supporting liver detox and supporting chelation as much as possible post-procedure might help. High intake of raw cilantro 2-3x/day (consider juicing) as well as a B-complex and ideally modified citrus pectin for the next 3-4 weeks (ex. EcoNugenics PectaClear 6 capsules before bed on an empty stomach with nothing else at all but water). No alcohol, caffeine/tea or smoking. Really support the liver, and keep the kidneys happy.

so yellow hands could have a few meanings but let’s start with diet first. Have you been eating a large amount of carotene rich foods by any chance? https://www.racgp.org.au/afp/2017/october/a-young-woman-with-yellow-hands-and-secondary-amen

what kind of toothpaste do you use? Does it contain SLS? Also, did she say you’ve lost enamel? This is common with bullemia because of the acidic purging. Do you think this is what your dentist was implying? Do they know your history?

By the way, this month we have both Dr David and Dr Agnes Roze; 2 amazing biological dentists. If you have any questions for them, please post it beneath their post in the event space and I’ll pass it on to them.

I’m not sure I’m understanding you correctly – you’re concerned about yellow hands and you have teeth sensitivity which your dentist is staying it’s due to a viral load? And they’re also saying it’s a sign of anorexia? Is that right?

yes correct – you’ll need to use a mail forwarding company to redirect them to Dubai. I use Shop & Ship or Boxit4me if buying from multiple vendors.

the Klaire Labs therbiotic complete also comes in powder form if she can’t swallow pills. If you’ve setup an account with the B Better Fullscript dispensary, you can find it there.

Just a note about the throat tickle… if she’s developed acid reflux, it could be silent reflux that’s causing it. Supporting her with the flaxseed cough remedy will help soothe her throat since it’s mucilagenous. And anything else mucilagenous like slippery elm tea for example, could also help soothe her irritated throat if it’s from the reflux.

If she’s still symptomatic despite supplementing with T4, she’s likely not converting it well to free T3. Have her check her iron/ferritin, RBC zinc, vitamin A, selenium levels for starters. What’s her stress level? Any other sign of inflammation in her body? This will cause thyroid hormone to get converted to the inactive Reverse T3 as well and lead to these symptoms.

Also, what’s her diet like? Does she eat animal products? Does she suffer from GI symptoms as well that might indicate poor digestion? We need protein and iodine to make thyroid hormone, so working on her diet and ensuring she’s getting in these nutrients through food as a foundation is a good idea.

both are correct – androgen dominance can lead to estrogen dominance. When testosterone is high in a woman (usually higher insulin is at play here), this will cause annovulation (no ovulation). When she doesn’t ovulate, progesterone doesn’t get produced, therefore during her luteal phase when progesterone should be highest, it’s not, which leads a higher estrogen to progesterone ratio (i.e. estrogen dominance) in that part of her cycle. Makes sense?

I’ve seen some pretty incredible results with NAET when it comes to food sensitivities/allergies with children. But for treating other things in adults, it’s really hit and miss. But worth a shot for your child for sure!
