@Daniel Schepers I am also due for blood work, but I wanted to ask you and @Bernadette Abraham if you have an idea of what labs I should get in addition to the regular ones.

@Daniel Schepers I cannot open the handout. Where else can I find it?

So I have a ton of symptoms, that I am noticing are abnormal.

-chronic constipation (much better than in past years) more so around my menstrual cycle, better throughout the rest of the month
-terrible menstrual cramps, heavy cycles, intense mood swings during cycle, temperature regulation (hot flashes)
-abdominal pain and sensitivity to the touch almost always
    – rosacea acne
-hives from alcohol (only drink on the weekends) but have tried to clean up my choices. I react worse to sugary drinks
    – joint pain
    – swollen / painful fingers mostly in the AM
    – numbness in hands, mostly in the AM
    – fascial restrictions throughout body
    – fatigue
    – itchy/flaky scalp, hair thinning/loss
    – itchy skin , history of dermatitis , I feel it when I have a flare up from something – not sure what
    – brain fog, cannot focus (ADD like symptoms)
    – anxiety
    – gas and bloating
    – palpitations
    – weakness, especially in upper extremities
    – neural tension throughout UE
    – headaches , not very often but had a debilitating migraine last month that put me out for 4 days and have never had one that awful before
    – sensitivity to smells and noise
    – nausea
    – vertigo
    – feeling of ants on skin in bilateral shoulders and arms occasionally, only when clothing is touching skin
    – reoccurring yeast infections , post cycle

And I’m sure there is more that I can think of… but that is a majority , unfortunately

    – I’ve done a stool test, which showed high zonulin, I have mostly just been staying away from gluten for almost a year now, but haven’t done much gut repair.

Perfect! Thank you. I was watching one of your case studies on this topic too. But I am going to go watch the interview as well!

@Daniel Schepers I was just hoping to find my true food sensitivities , I have been on and off avoiding foods… and I still just don’t know for sure. But I feel like lately, I have been noticing symptoms related to histamine related reactions. I am working on getting into a rheumatologist / immunologist to see if they can help at all too.

thank you so much for the responses! I wish this person would be more willing to change her ways, but she has informed me that as much as she wants to stop taking the Ambien (which she is now mixing with alcohol and sometimes other meds) she does not want to change her ways right now.
She is 75 and cannot fall asleep without the Ambien, she reports that her mind is just constantly going which is what keeps her awake.

Unfortunately, she is not ready to change her ways. But I appreciate the help!!

    One other question:
Do you happen to know if there is a relation between taking a long-term drug such as Ambien/sedatives and persistent neurological symptoms?

so it is contact dermatitis consistent with eczema and folliculitis. They gave me Opzelura, a non-steroidal topical which has helped. I still have the folliculitis and most of the itchiness is on the palms of my hands now and suboccipital area. I changed my laundry detergent and and body wash, but I don’t know if that did anything because I am using the medication. So I didn’t see a rheumatologist because it wasn’t psoriasis

So I went to the dermatologist and she was much better than my last one. But they took biopsy of the rash and said it looks like either eczema or psoriasis and gave me a prescription for Vtama it’s a topical not a steroid like the last doctor tried to give me. I will get the results of the biopsy by Friday, hopefully. Then we will know for sure! The little red spots are folliculitis and she recommends just to use an antibacterial soap and change my razor every time I shave. Sooo I’ll try that too. But I will let you know the biopsy results when I get them.

I did the GI map a little while ago before all this began because of my gut issues. I’m in the process of watching the gut health masterclass.

I am just worried that they’ll put me on an antibiotic and I don’t want to take it!! So I was wondering if you had a better way to deal with something like this. I will keep you posted though and once I have a diagnosis I hope we can figure it out.
