Completely agree with the above, I’m guilty of this as well.

I’m actually super proud of myself and my discipline doing my first ever detox program. I feel great and learned a lot along the weeks. Moreover, I’m inspiring my husband too. So another week to go but it will now be plain sailing (after having a rougher week due to my period).

Thank you Daniel And Bernadette! All make sense. 🙂 my kids are 4 and 6 (4 years old exploring more food options I try and add in than the 6 year old ).

I’ll continue then to be more creative with these food options then!

Thank you! So you mean, if this is not mentioned in the program then better not do it? (It mentions hydrotherapy to enhance the cleaning as an option.. but I don’t really want to do that) Also, I never did such program before, nor biofilm 🙂 so I’m happy to go easy first.

Yes, I read the book itself and it really resonated with me. In the US people can actually order supplements and all (as the author developed a whole business around it) but I’ll be only following the concept and recipes by the book. Basically there is a week of elimination diet and then 3 weeks of cleanse based on two liquid meals and one solid meal a day using specific ingredients. (Will exclude everything with gluten, dairy, sweets etc.. ) . It also includes detox of the mind, products we use and even water we drink.. I can stop any time so my goal is to do 1 week elimination and 2 weeks cleanse as a first go and we will see how it goes. Then really slowly reintroducing things and see how my body reacts.

Hello! I would love to educate myself about kids gut health or healthy eating.. How they have different (or the same) requirements as adults. Small kids, teens etc… 🙂

    Hi B,

Are pinworms the same as dientamoeba frangilis? So now (while me getting ready with a plan to treat myself) I noticed my daughter had pinworms and tests confirmed.

My question is that whether this is a coincidence, or can be at all related.

She was prescribed vermox syrup which I’m starting for her.
Any special diet I should put her on for getting rid of the worms besides the syrup?
After how long we should retest? How can we avoid this?

    Thank you

    Thank you, super interesting.

Would non hormonal contraceptives like copper coil would still effect natural balance of hormone?

What is ideal scenario what are we striving for?

I have heavy periods since putting copper coil and really sore left breast every other periods and periods that that last longer (effecting my iron levels). I didn’t want to go for adding hormones (took enough pills unfortunately in my youth) but I still don’t fully understand how I could find out the optimal way for my body? With hormone tests?

May I have an additional question since I also suffer from similar breast soreness (only left side but quite uncomfortable) and mood swings before and at the start of my period. I have a non hormonal zinc coil and since I put it my periods became super heavy. I also suffer from low iron and was told to consider removing it. Question is, will the PMS soften? Is that also a factor? Question 2, I don’t want hormonal contraceptives, is there a video or post about alternative methods that has minimal effects on the body? Thank you, interesting post and conversation.

Thank you so much. I would definitely have to make a few changes and experiment as well.

I loved the eating hygiene video, definitely guilty there. One thing I have to look at for sure is reducing stress and dedicate time for eating during lunch time (I tend to eat and work..). I will also look at supplements to improve the situation. I don’t normally feel bloated but I do have lot of gas.. normally would have good regular bowel movement but recently had constipation a few time (particularly close to my period).
I also have Gilbert syndrome but as told is inherited. Perhaps all inter-related. I would definitely like to find that optimal diet or supplement if needed that would just support my guts reduce gas and also protect my liver. Keep everything happy inside. 🙂
