In response to your questions. It was a blood test. The units
DHEA-SULFATE 154.9 ug/dl is what the lab report reads. I am on BHRT and have been for a couple of years. When she tests my hormones, she tests the DHEA. My dr suggested supplementing with the DHEA in the beginning because my levels were low. Originally it was in my cream. Then she decided to pull it out of the hormone cream and have me take it orally to see if the absorption was better. She said sometime this is the case. I stopped with the supplement because I needed to order more and just never did. I just started doing some research on DHEA and it got me looking back at my labs.thanks,

Hi,
Her blood pressure has been sitting around 135/76. So slightly elevated but not concerning. Is what she has been told. In answer to your questions. She has never had high BP it has always been spot on. We have been watching her BP and BS closely the past few days. Before pregnancy she was prone to hypoglycemia. Last week she started having black out spells. She hasn’t actually passed out but feels like she will if she moves to quickly. She went to the ER, they ran all test for blood clots, EKG and checked BP during movement. Her BP at the ER was 126/73. Her white blood count was 19 but everything else seemed to be in check. I am trying to find out if they checked her iron levels. Do you have any thoughts or suggestions of areas we may look further or labs that may be beneficial? She is 29 weeks. I just know western medicine likes to check the boxes then send you on your way. Thanks for any further insight or knowledge.

This very much resonates with me. I am sure I am in fight or flight most days. I do alot of things, red light therapy, breathing/meditation etc. but must need more. I don’t seem to have histamine intolerance so I will try eating fermented foods. I do take a probiotic daily because I have been worried about my gut microbiome. I just had labs drawn. Unfortunately she didn’t pull D,A or zinc this time. I will have her order. I did just watch the testing adrenal function. Here are my most recent labs.
GENERAL CHEMISTRY GLUCOSE 98 65 – 100 mg/dl
BUN 14 6 – 20 mg/dl
CREATININE, SERUM 1.1 H 0.5 – 1.0 mg/dl
SODIUM 143 136 – 145 mmol/L
POTASSIUM 4.5 3.5 – 5.1 mmol/L
CHLORIDE 108 100 – 110 mmol/L CO2 24 20 – 31 mmol/L
CALCIUM 9.4 8.3 – 10.6 mg/dl
TOTAL PROTEIN 7.2 5.7 – 8.2 g/dl
ALBUMIN 4.7 3.2 – 4.8 g/dl
GLOBULIN 2.5 2.2 – 3.7 g/d
and my hemoglobin and CRP are in the high range.
What are your thoughts?
thank you,

How does a Homocysteine blood test show a methylation issue? Just curious what your numbers should be if you are methylating vs not. Hopefully that question makes sense.

Thank you! Jill Dean

You had previously mentioned the betaine test. She was treating for hpylori when she found out she was pregnant. She has stopped but the low acid is a constant issue. Causing her to feel really hungry and nausea no matter how much and often she eats. She has been taking the Zypan enzyme by Standard Process. It’s worked well in the past but doesn’t seem to be helping with the uptick of everything going on in her body. Would the betaine test still be ok to try while pregnant? Or do you have any other suggestions? Thank you!

She was working on phase 2 detoxing based on her Dutch test so I’m sure the hormone back ups are a contributing factor. How much magnesium glycinate is a good dose for headaches? Same as when you’re not pregnant? Thank you for your recommendations! Jill Dean

Thanks for the reply! Only the suplhoraclear for hormones. She has been on a hpylori protocol which she stopped but still taking zypan to help her stomach.
She is having low blood pressure and feels very faint and lightheaded to the pointof almost passing out. 103/58.
Any thoughts on this concern would be appreciated.
Thank B you

But your assumption was correct! You suggested more animal protein for my daughter. And I have seen it on a few other posts. So thought it would be helpful to see your ideas! Thank you!

Ok thank you! That is exactly what I told her. Remove the honey but the other ingredients should be fine.

Hi,
She did a mold urine test a couple of months ago. It came back with very low exposure. But there was exposure. We treated for metals and parasites 1.5 years ago with the cellcore protocol. She did 2 rounds of it. H-pylori was 1600 retest was 400. She has been taking the Pure Digestive enzyme with Betaine. Is this still a good option for supporting stomach acid? She does eat animal protein. She started taking the Thorne Basic B you recommended. I don’t know how consistent she has been. I have felt all along there is an over load of histamines or just as her dutch test showed, an overload of hormones from poor phase 2 detox. Is there a specific test for histamine? Or which histamine supp might you recommend from seeking Health? Her stomach seems to be feeling a bit better. Although she wakes up starving. And often feels really hungry even if she has eaten a large meal. All of these symptoms, the vertigo, migraine headaches and gut issues started within a week of starting BC. 3 years ago.
I have wondered if a binder would be a good option. She did the Cellcor binder back when she detoxed from the metals.
I will get her going on the L-carnatine and Ubiquinol.
Maybe she needs to try the Quicksilver Methy-B complex? Maybe she doesn’t methylate well?thank you for you input! Means so much! I have studied and researched trying to find answers. And we have tried a lot!
