Hi Bernadette,
Yes got all the links and went through them. (It wasnt as visible on the phone that why I missed them!) Thank you for the links and all the information above.
In terms of the anti microbial supplements, I assume now that he has taken the antiobiotics he wont need them for now. His stool colour is returning to normal and his nausea has gone. Not sure if its worth testing the stool at this point.
I just listened to the probiotic link – you mentioned that the Klaire Labs need to be refrigerated, I had no idea. I have been taking those but the bottle was at room temperature; same for the kids one. Its been over a couple of months now. Do I throw the bottles away?
When you take the S Boulardii, can you also take probiotics at the same time? -
No he had no idea about any of the effects these drugs would have.
Sorry I just saw the rest of your message – it was cut for some reason. I will go through the gut course again but if there are any probiotics you can recommend that would be really appreciated. -
Hey Bernadette,
He is on day 4 of both meds right now so I don’t think he can stop them? The dr had prescribed them for five days.
Is there anything he can do or take in the meantime to keep his immunity up and his gut health on track? -
Hi Bernadatte,
I am currently giving her the probiotics and at times kefir and fermented foods. She is due a blood test in two months to check her vitamin d levels so I guess i could do the OAT test then as well and see how she goes before taking it further. Is this a blood test or a stool test?
Thank you

Hey Bernadette
Thank you once again for your prompt response. I havent looked at this section and will check it out absolutely.
So I am also attaching a blood test done in November when she did complain of a major stomach ache (lower right) and I thought it might be apendicitis – just to compare her results with this one. When we did the most recent test she was not unwell and did not complain of any tummy pain even though in general she does have bloating and gas. I have tried going down the kefir route which she will have but not often, so pro biotics may be a better option for her. What will the OAT test show? Will it show if there is a infection?
Will be looking into the iron section as well.
Thank you

Hi Daniel
Thank you for your response. I have attached the blood tests (fasting). The Doctor has prescribed 5K Vitamin which I have started giving her now.
With regards to symptoms, she is generally fine and eats well and hydrates and sleeps well. Her energy levels are fine as well.
In terms of diet, she eats protein daily and we try and include veggies/salads/ fruits and at times fermented foods.
The Doc is happy with the results but I am just concerned about the Iron levels (although my Iron levels are on the higher end of the range as well)
She has pale and veiny skin –Hope this information was useful.
Thank you

Okay so I have finished the course and it was so so helpful! thank you for breaking this down, and I am so glad to have gone through it.
I do have a question about ‘aromitization’ mentioned in your course. The test results show Free Testosterone at 40 pg/ml and total testosterone at 135ng/dl. And the prostate levels are within optimal range. So could there be a testosterone/ oestrogen conversion issue?
The aromatase and progesterone levels were not tested yet – Would you recommend to test them to understand whats behind the low levels? Or once the sugar regulation is controlled, then the results should slowly also fall within the optimal range?Thank you

thank you for your getting back to me. Yes I have started your course! Listening to it now

This was a yearly check up (last year was missed) – He works out 3/4 times daily but has a desk job (long hours). I am just concerned that his body has adjusted to this as a ‘norm’ as he is generally well otherwise. For example his Vit d is low (26) and ao is his B12 but physically this isn’t showing. He has developed a red rash/spots almost on his forehead in the past year.

Thank you Bernadette. I guess a full liver panel then – the LDL is 198 and HDL 25 which are way off the range as well. Would you consider the nutrition route as a first step in such a case? And check the numbers again in a few months?

Wonderful thank you will do that
Will keep you posted once I do the blood test and get the results. Thanks again

Hey Bernadette
Thats so strange I was so sure I responded to this!
I would be really grateful if you could help me to get the OAT test done as I am interested to see what comes up – Would I still need to run the liver function tests?
I also received the digestive bitters which i am starting nowas for the 5HTP and ADR formula – which one do you recommend I start with?
Thank you!
