Hi B, Yes I will be taking them separately. The protein shake is not daily and I try to have my protein intake from my meals mainly and the collagen is more specific to my ankle cartilage injury. If you have any recommendations that would be awesome. I was looking into biotics optimal collagen.

    Thank you Lana

Thank you Daniel for your response. And in your opinion what are the factors that need to be considered before taking HRT in this case if the homocysteine levels are in check?

As for her daughter, they were told that she is having more severe allergy symptoms due to the chloramine in the pool water and that when children do not shower prior to entering the pool, this can spread and increase and cause respiratory problems. Her daughter does suffer for allergies from a young age but it seems to be getting worse and coughing at night is disrupting her sleep.

Not that I am aware of no. He said that the bold patch was within a certain proximity to her eyes and there may be a connection! very vague!

Awesome thank you wil have a look at the links you attached. She also mentioned that the doctor said it could be related to her eye sight too.

Thanks B. Yes sure it does, and she has been on two rounds of antibiotics already so hopefully this will support her. It says 1 capsule on the bottle but from a supplement mentor, it was suggested to take two. Was is the tolerable limit for this?

    Hey B,

She would like to get on S Boulardii but because she suffers from yeast infections (candida), is it best to avoid it?

    Thanks

    Hey B

Great! I tried to get the S Boulardii brand from the states but the kids hated the taste. I will open up the capsule I have.

The brand is proflora and the manufacturer is from denmark Deerland. Although I do have the probiotics I take which I got from your fullscript account, Megaspore and Lactozyme – can i use either for the kids? Again I would have to open them up.

    Thanks

Thank you B, I will discuss this with her and hopefully she goes gets herself checked as I dont think she has yet. A colonoscopy would be enough to detect IBD or IBS?

What are the most effective tests for testing celiac disease?

In regards to the probiotics, what if she doesnt know if has sensitivitites to yeast? would you recommend she tries the other options just in case?

    Thanks x

Hi B – Thank you for your detailed response. I will go through the attached videos and will get back to you if I have any questions. Is it worth checking her B vitamins too considering she was on birth control for a while.

The UTI protocol is so useful! I hope she tries this route instead of another antibiotics course. Considering she has so many infections is it worth recommending the D mannose supplement as a prevention? Is there a specific timeline to take it or its safe to take?

Her periods have been better yes – a little history though, she was on birth control pills for a while without any breaks because her periods use to be so heavy she would become anemic. Later on she was told that her ovaries are premenopausal and was told to stop taking them. When she stopped, she would bleed not as heavily but would keep spotting for two weeks almost so she was recommended progesterone to manage that. So she cant tell if the progesterone helped regulate her periods or they self-regulated after being on the pill for so long. She was told she has an enlarged uterus and that there is bleeding inside.

    Thanks!

    Hey B,

Thanks for the response. This was really helpful. So I did run his antibodies too as I have Hashimoto’s and they came back normal. The multi vitamins he was taking do contain Biotin – He is due to have an other blood test in December to check his Vitamin D levels so do you think it may be worth redoing his full thyroid panel then as I have stopped those multi vitamins.

He isn’t the biggest eater so I never thought of checking for parasites but I think it may be worth doing this at this point. Are there any specific tests you would recommend I check for? His sisters levels are also above 3%

    Thanks x Lana

Hi B, thank you for your response.

I ran these blood tests as a general check up – there were no real concerns and he has been well overall (he is turning 8 in January). I did notice his multi vitamins do contain vitamin B12 so it may be due to that. I have stopped them for now. He isnt the best eater in terms of variety but he does like his protein and peanut butter. He is quite thin and is listed as average on the growth chart.

Hey, so I took my kids to see Dr Tina at SameDay Dentist – She works with children who mouth breath and the myofunctional therapist we saw was at Maison Sante Ms Paula. She is very sweet and patient. I would also recommend you visit an ENT if you haven’t already done so as it is necessary to rule out any obstruction. In my sons case, his adenoids were inflamed and needed to be removed – the therapy was not really benefiting him as he couldn’t breath properly and we had to address this first. Good luck!
