• Testing – need support

Posted by toujan on May 13, 2025 at 6:15 pm

Hi – I have a friend in her 30s that has been an IBD patient for over a decade. She is interested in getting a food intolerance test and allergy test done since lately she has been getting a rash or itch when she eats a variety of things. I am not sure how to guide her. I thought initially an IgG antibody test but I am assuming with these reactions she may need something more? Kindly advise

Hi @toujan – I would highly recommend you listen to this session we had with the founder of the KBMO food sensitivity test. They are my preferred testing company since they not only look at IgG, but also the complements, which is very well explained. Your friend can create a free account to watch it as well.

You can also find ordering instructions here if interested in pursuing this type of food sensitivity testing. If she’s in the UAE, contact Eman Alattar from Analytikal Labs +971-55-166-2700.

And please keep in mind that there is no perfect food sensitivity test out there. The gold standard test is an elimination challenge followed by a food reintroduction. Although it takes more effort and time, your body provides direct answers that no test can compete with. You can find instructions on how to do that here.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for all the info and guidance. She has already been able to identify some foods are causing – I would like to call it inconveniences in her body at this stage. But she still wanted the support of the testing to support in some quick actions. I will pass on to her the local contact information for her to take it from there. However since this is recent I still believe there is something else that is off in her body that is causing her body not to be so accepting of a number of food, or maybe the lack of particular nutrients? And yes I will make the time to listen to that recording- haven’t been able to catch up on all the content recently.
