  Influenza B with pneumoniae bacteria

  Hi B,

  unfortunately my brother has been in intensive care for two weeks suffering from this malignant disease and his chest is completely inflamed with pneumococcal bacteria under the influence of anesthesia with oxygen pumps in the mouth and he has suffered a lot. I want to inquire about this disease.

  Is it contagious and how can he recover from it after the amount of antibiotics he took?

  And the daily x-rays? Is it possible to help me know the eating regimen he follows after the anesthesia
