URGENT – DOCTOR RECOMMENDATION
@Bernadette_Abraham Hello, my husband woke up with a bloodshot red eye, which is highly sensitive to light, and he’s experiencing a throbbing pain at the back of the eye that extends down to his jaw. Can anyone please recommend a good eye doctor? This occurred to him two years ago, and the doctors associated it with an autoimmune disorder called ankylosing spondylitis. However, we opted for a 7-week full raw vegetable and fruit detox, which made the symptoms disappear. Unfortunately, they have returned after two years.

@Bernadette_Abraham Hi Bernadette, I’m extremely grateful for your recommendation and this community. As per your advice, we immediately went to see Dr. Fady, and he’s absolutely amazing. We’ve been working with him for the past three days, and we genuinely feel safe in his care.

Ah @Naja 🤗 you gave me goosebumps. I’m so thankful and glad to hear that your husband is being well taken care of with Dr. Saad.
He is amazing. He moved from Lebanon recently, and wanted to bring a new technology to the American Hospital – one of which would benefit my son’s visual line tracking issues. But unfortunately, he’s not been able to get through all the politics at the hospital regarding insurance, etc. It’s such a shame that they prevent good doctors who want to help their patients.
Do let us know if there’s anything else we can do to support you and your husband.

@Bernadette_Abraham It’s truly unfortunate to see good doctors like him face obstacles in bringing new technologies to hospitals due to political issues. I hope that he can overcome these challenges soon and continue to make a positive impact in the lives of his patients.
The fear we experienced due to not knowing where to go when we were in desperate need made us realize even more the value of what you do by bringing together an amazing community that makes people feel heard and seen. They have a place to go for real advice. I’m forever grateful, truly.
May I please ask for recommendations for a gynecologist, GP, and hygienist? Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

@Naja The only 2 functional gynecologists I know of are Dr. Liliana Skorski at Health Bay. And another one (I have yet to meet her though) at Hope Health and Healing integrative medical clinic.
As for dental work, Dr. Roze Bio Health clinic is my go-to for all dental and oral health requirements. They are very pricey, but their approach is biological and top of the line.
A general practitioner with a functional approach… I can recommend Dr. Lilya Chubb at Hope Health and Healing, and Dr. Makk at Zia Medical Center. Both however do not do direct billing – so it’s pay and claim back if you have insurance.
