Armpit odor
Hi there,
My armpits have been smelling so bad no matter what I do. I haven’t changed my diet either. I’ve been having armpit rash for a couple days because I wear the same shirt for a couple days and it’s summer but I work from home and never sweat that much. But I had a rash where it burned to put deodorant on. So I was washing my armpits with soap twice a day and put on Neosporin for 3 days and it helped. Rash went away. I bought a spray deodorant to help not have contant with a deodorant stick in those 3 days. And after that I got a spray tan on my body and wasn’t allowed to put deodorant on for 8 hours and I was starting to smell really bad. After the 8 hours I showered with water and soaped up my armpits and put deodorant on. Then the next day, even after I showered, I had terrible armpit odor. It’s 3 days now and everytime I sweat I smell horrible. I’ve been spraying witch hazel on after shower and scrubbed so much in the shower and the smell is gone but the smell still comes back after I sweat. Please help. This is getting embarassing lol.

@Ivona nagorzanski is this a one-time occurrence only after the spray tan or is it something you’ve been dealing with for a while?
If it’s only after having done the spray tan, then my initial thought is liver and lymph support is needed (do you know what ingredients were used in the spray tan?). Make sure you’re hydrating well too to help flush out toxins.

Also is the rash from the shirt or deodorant? If it has baking soda, it can be irritating to many people, and a zinc-based deodorant might be a better idea for you.
In terms of rapid relief, I would suggest making a clay paste using either food-grade diatomaceous earth or activated charcoal (or any other binder or clay). Make a paste with a little bit of water or apple cider vinegar. Apply a thin, even layer of the paste to clean, dry underarms. Leave it on for 10-20 minutes and then wipe clean. You can then apply a little bit of coconut oil to help moisturize if needed.
