Speaker’s Bio

Dr. Geoffrey Montague-Smith, D.O., principal osteopath and founder of the Atman Clinic, knew from an early age that he wanted to be a healing arts practitioner after witnessing how osteopathy helped his father overcome crippling back pain. Choosing not to attend medical school, he instead pursued a four-year course in Osteopathy.

Dr. Montague-Smith graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1989, receiving the prize for Osteopathic Technique. Since then, he has continued to refine his skills in adjunctive techniques, undertaking training in cranial osteopathy, bio-resonance therapy, homeopathy, herbal medicine, and nutritional medicine.

In 1995, Dr. Montague-Smith founded the Atman Clinic as a center of excellence for Holistic Osteopathic Medicine. His unique holistic approach to patient care integrates evidence-based practice with an appreciation for the subtle levels of being. This philosophy leads him to combine advanced osteopathic techniques with bio-resonance, vibrational medicine, and spiritual psychotherapeutics. His methods often succeed in treating conditions where allopathic medicine may have fallen short.
