    Hello,
So my kids got very uncomfortable itchy skin irritation after being in the sea for all day this weekend. Apparently is the season of some parasites, sealices in the sea..
any home remedies come to mind for anyone that can calm down itching? I was told to
Use Zyrtec once a day and alfacort cream, but was wondering if there is any natural solution I can boost their recovery.
    Thank you

I actually saw on LovinDubai’s Instagram account this morning that residents across Dubai were complaining of gasoline /kerosene smell yesterday. Supposedly an oil tanker leaked in the sea and the smell got picked up by the storm. I was reading some of the comments and one person said that the downtown canal was totally black… so I’m wondering if your kids are reacting to the toxins in the sea from this oil spill.

Have you seen the “Rapid relief for allergies/congestion” protocol here? I share some supplement solutions and food therapy options you can try like stinging nettle leaf (not root) & onion peels. The downside is that it usually takes a while (~2 weeks to 30 days) for the natural options to kick in but they do work.

Knowing about the oil spill, I would help support their natural detoxification pathways. Make sure they sweat a lot through play (the skin is an elimination pathway, the lungs and lymph are too through movement/exercise) and provide them with plenty of fiber to help bind and eliminate toxins through stool. Also make sure they’re well hydrated – the kidneys help eliminate toxins too!

Here’s a video that explains the elimination pathways with supportive tools for each.

And for rapid relief, I love homeopathy. If it doesn’t help, it won’t harm when taking in low dosages (6x, 30x). Depending on the type of itching they have and where, read the descriptions on this page to find out which one would be best for your kids. I would assume Urtica and/or saponaria would help in this situation but a homeopath would know best if you can consult with one.
